A little info......

Thought I would write a little update just to let everyone know Adaline has 3 front teeth now and the 4th one should be making it's appearance anyday now!!! Today she also said "baby" for the first time. Also, I am in the process of posting pics of Christmas but I have posted some on facebook as well! I'm hoping to get them on the blog in the next two days since Chris is off. Happy New Years!!!

Christmas pictures

Well I tried to get pictures of the kids by our christmas tree/fireplace. It was somewhat successful so I thought I would share them with you.

Kagan's turn...... it was a little harder with him believe it or not. He had a hard time sitting still, keeping his legs together, keeping his hands down, staying in the chair ect ect

Now getting them to work together was even more of a challenge. Kagan was the one that had problems staying still. Adaline did great, just watching Chris be silly was good enough for her, although she didn't think he was too funny b/c she hardly smiled.

Thanksgiving 2

So for our 2nd Thanksgiving, my parents (Christa), my niece Rylee, my Aunt Tricia, cousins Chris, Ashleigh, Cadence and Shaun came over on Thanksgiving Day. The turkey of course took forever but it tasted great and so did the rest of the meal.

The motorcycle is always a big hit and is a great teaching tool for sharing!!
I am so very Thankful for my family, without them I just don't know how I would survive or even made it this far. This Thanksgiving was bittersweet for me because I am use to being in Florida with my whole extended family. It was very different to not have my other cousins, Aunt, Uncles and my Gran and Poppa with me but yet I am thankful for being in North Carolina at the same time. The weather up here in NC, being chilly, makes getting in the Christmas spirit a whole lot easier than in the hot, muggy Florida weather.

However I sure do miss Disney this time of year. I enjoyed performing on TV in the Christmas Day parade, seeing all the lights, hearing the music, I sure do have some great memories for which I am Thankful. Hopefully soon I can post some pics of those fun times for me.

Disclaimer

Just want to put it out there that I am going to TRY to blog, note the word TRY! I won't have anything profound to say or new revelations but I will hopefully keep you up-to-date on the kids. So if you need inspiration or good ideas don't come looking here :0) read the Bible instead. haha, I'm already making myself laugh! Well anyways, I hope whatever I type or pictures I put on, you enjoy!!

Thanksgiving 2009

We were very excited to have The Callaway's come to visit us. Mike, Debbie (aka Papaw and Mamaw), Jeremy, Ghea and JD all came either up or down to stay with us for a few days. It was one exciting and LOUD house, but we gladly welcomed it!

Adaline very excited to see everybody

On Saturday we had a family picture taken and then had Thanksgiving dinner. So if you see everyone is color coordinated clothes that's why. Then on Sunday we went to Chuck E Cheese.

Good times to be had by all!!

Hopefully the next time we get together will be sooner than later :)
