Snow Day

Well we had our first real snowfall. The last time it snowed it was more ice than snow plus Kagan was sick that day so we didn't go outside and play. This time was much different. Kagan was well and very excited. He couldn't wait till morning time to go play in the snow. That morning he came into my room, grabbed the remote control and got up in the bed with me. Then he flew off the bed and said "mommy, I have to go see if it snowed enough so I can go play in it", he ran into the living room, looked out the window, came back in my room and said "It snowed, it snowed, can we go play?" So, to say the least he was super excited. After breakfast, we bundled up as good as Floridians know how to bundle up, and played in the snow. Adaline hated it, except when Kagan was chasing us with a snowball, then she giggled; but Roo loved it!! We just wished Chris was off to play with us.

The beginning of the snow fall; Kagan was so excited he had to go outside and "play" in the snow that had collected on the picnic table

the light pole while snow is falling (or could it be orbs aka ghosts??? dum dum dum)

ready to go play.......kind of

Adaline DID NOT like the snow!!!

Kagan coming at me with a snowball

Kagan getting ammunition; Cappie enjoyed running and playing too!

our sorry excuse for a snowman, the snow wouldn't compact together, of course I was doing it with one hand b/c Adaline wouldn't let me put her back down in the snow

so I know I'm from Florida but I thought the icicles coming out of the waterspout was neat; the other picture is a view from the garage as the snow was melting, slush and snow

shoveling snow is always fun

I thought Roo's Handy Manny shoeprint was cool looking in the snow

Hooray for snow!!! I'm so glad it snowed enough for you to play in... but still can't believe it has been so cold and snowy in N.C. Wish I was there to play in it with you...

Awww it looks so fun!! The pictures of the yard look like somewhere in Colorado! Wow At least you have snow when it's cold, unlike Fl, it's just plain cold!!!
