Snow Day

Well we had our first real snowfall. The last time it snowed it was more ice than snow plus Kagan was sick that day so we didn't go outside and play. This time was much different. Kagan was well and very excited. He couldn't wait till morning time to go play in the snow. That morning he came into my room, grabbed the remote control and got up in the bed with me. Then he flew off the bed and said "mommy, I have to go see if it snowed enough so I can go play in it", he ran into the living room, looked out the window, came back in my room and said "It snowed, it snowed, can we go play?" So, to say the least he was super excited. After breakfast, we bundled up as good as Floridians know how to bundle up, and played in the snow. Adaline hated it, except when Kagan was chasing us with a snowball, then she giggled; but Roo loved it!! We just wished Chris was off to play with us.

The beginning of the snow fall; Kagan was so excited he had to go outside and "play" in the snow that had collected on the picnic table

ready to go play.......kind of

Adaline DID NOT like the snow!!!

Kagan coming at me with a snowball

Kagan getting ammunition; Cappie enjoyed running and playing too!

our sorry excuse for a snowman, the snow wouldn't compact together, of course I was doing it with one hand b/c Adaline wouldn't let me put her back down in the snow

so I know I'm from Florida but I thought the icicles coming out of the waterspout was neat; the other picture is a view from the garage as the snow was melting, slush and snow

shoveling snow is always fun

I thought Roo's Handy Manny shoeprint was cool looking in the snow

I thought he was cute being a robot with my slippers on but he didn't want his picture taken so I told him he didn't have to look at the camera

this horse didn't work but he played on it anyways

My little Angelina Jolie

Adaline has her first busted lip. She was standing behind Roo holding onto his shoulders and he threw his head backwards and busted her in the mouth. Oh it bled and bled, so we had her suck on a wet cloth and an ice pack. After a while she calmed down and I was able to examine her mouth to make sure it was just her lip and not her teeth.

The swelling has gone down now and all is well except a little cut on her lip.

we gave her a little ice pack to chew on, which seem to really help

remembering that it still hurts....

Super Bowl Sunday

On Super Bowl Sunday the team (minus me, Christa) dressed up in their Colts gear and went to church. I went to church but I don't anything nice enough with the Colts on it to wear to church.

We went over to The Oedy's house to watch the SuperBowl and had a great time. Unfortunately the Colts did not win but we supported them anyhow!
